Paducah, KY – Paducah City Commissioners tabled an ordinance to purchase a $172,000 portable restroom facility that was to be installed at the city's pavilion outside the Julian Carroll Convention Center. The city had a vendor lined up to purchase one which lowered to the ground and would eliminate the need for stairs and additional construction. However, the flushing mechanism in that type of facility isn't approved by the state. The project will be placed out to bid again.
