Louisville, KY – The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education is reviewing the transfer process between the Kentucky Community and Technical College System and four year universities. Two recent surveys show 62 percent of students rate transfer services as good or excellent. Students reported the most concern with academic advising. A quarter of students reported problems. Twenty-two percent of KCTCS student transferred to a four year school in academic year 2008-2009. CPE President Bob King says the data will allow the council to focus activities as they implement the new transfer legislation passed during the Kentucky General Assembly's Regular Session.
