Clarksville, TN – Hemlock Semiconductor representatives are working to recruit staff for it's Clarksville plant even though the its opening is more than two years away. The Kentucky New Era reports Site Manager Terry Strange held two information sessions at Hopkinsville Community College Tuesday. There local residents learned how to become involved when the plant opens in October 2012. The company anticipates hiring a staff of one-thousand. The company manufactures products used in the production of solar panels. Six hundred contractors are currently working on the site with another 200 expected to be added by early next year.
