Fort Campbell, KY – As thousands of Fort Campbell soldiers leave nearly every day for a tour in Afghanistan, about 240 returned from abroad yesterday. Two companies in the 101st Sustainment Brigade flew into the installation after concluding a 1-year tour in Iraq. The brigade was responsible for water purification and personnel security at several bases there. They distributed over 39 million gallons of water and three and a half million cases of bottled water during their deployment.
