McCracken County, KY – Four horses broke through a damaged fence along I-24 in McCracken County yesterday. The animals slowed traffic for several hours, while emergency responders and wranglers worked to recapture them. This proved a difficult task, as the horses crossed the interstate several times, prompting police to halt traffic. The McCracken County Sheriff's Department says there were no vehicle collisions as a result of the incident and the horses have been returned to their owner.
