Gilbertsville, Ky. – The Kentucky Sheriffs' Boys and Girls Ranch in Gilbertsville opens next Sunday, and some slots are still available for this summer. The ranch gives all Kentucky children, whose families cannot afford summer camp, an opportunity to participate in an instructional and organized environment. There is no cost to the child's family. Funding comes from donations and fundraising efforts led by sheriffs across Kentucky's 120 counties. Ranch officials urge anyone interested to inquire soon.
