Murray, KY – Transportation projects in Calloway and Trigg counties are moving forward after the General Assembly finalized their road plan this past weekend. Legislators allocated funding to continue work on a new section of KY 68/80 through Land Between the Lakes. They allocated 150 million dollars to finish a new bridge across Lake Barkley. Representative Melvin Henley of Murray says funding to finish a bridge over Kentucky Lake will be discussed in the next biennial budget. Legislators also included funding for one mile of Highway 641 South between Murray and the Clarks River bridge.
