Murray, KY – Three spots are up for appointment on the Murray State University Board of Regents. Governor Steve Beshear will make the appointments. Nine nominees are on the list, including Cuyahoga Community College President Dr. Jerry Sue Thornton and Insurance company CEO Harry Lee Waterfield, Junior, son of the MSU library's namesake. Board Chair Alan Stout and Board member Vickie Travis have both reapplied for their positions. Board member Dr. Laxmiah Manchicanti resigned this year. Governor Beshear must make his decision by the end of the fiscal year in June.
