Clarksville, TN – Construction work at Clarksville's developing Marina site is expected to begin again soon. City spokeswoman Christie Hill tells the Clarksville Leaf Chronicle TMS Contracting says it has mobilized a subcontractor to finish excavating the basin. Flooding from the Cumberland River early last month stalled work at the site, among a string of delays that have affected the project's timeline. Hill expects TMS to detail a damage assessment and plans to recover time lost, including what an extension may involve if one is requested. The city and TMS have both downplayed the extent of any flood damage in recent weeks.
