Kentucky – Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Rand Paul's lead on Democratic opponent Jack Conway has dropped to just eight points. The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey finds the GOP nominee with support from 49 percent of the state's voters while Conway earns 41 percent. That's a significant difference from Paul's 25-point lead two weeks ago following the primary. Paul lost his post-primary bounce after an MSNBC interview during which he discussed his opposition of portions of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Paul later said he supports the bill.
