Nashville, TN – The Business and Finance Committee of the Tennessee Board of Regents voted Tuesday to recommend tuition increases of as much as ten percent for some university students. The full board votes June 25. If approved, tuition at the five regional universities, which includes Austin Peay, would increase by 5.2 percent for students taking 12 hours, 7.8 percent for those taking 15 hours and 10.2 percent for those taking 18 hours. The Tennessee Board of Trustees that oversees UT-Martin votes on its tuition increases June 24.
