Benton, KY – Benton City Officials are working to form a wellness program. Officials meet tomorrow afternoon with employees to get feedback is on the topic. The city spent nearly 445-thousand dollars on health care this fiscal year and that rate is expected to increase next year. WPSD-TV reports the new wellness plan would reward employees with healthy lifestyles, with a possible 300 dollar per year minimum credit, but cost 300 dollars per year for those who don't sign on.
