Hopkins County – Governor Steve Beshear and the Department for Local Government today announced the award of a matching grant to Hopkins County. The funds will support cleanup efforts and repair costs associated with the January 2009 ice storm. Hopkins County's award amounts to just over $87,000. The money goes toward a $466,000 project to enhance ice storm recovery efforts.
