Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Montgomery County School System will soon welcome one more elementary school. The Joint Land Acquisition Committee, made up of Montgomery County commissioners and School Board members voted unanimously for Site 3 over two other sites in North Clarksville. Officials say Site 3 would cost the least amount of money to ready for building. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports the rapid growth in zoned Region II, including Hazelwood, Northeast, Glenellen and West Creek areas required a new school. They expect construction to be complete by 2013.
