Paris, TN – Henry County, Tennessee officials signed off yesterday on a new certified tax rate for property owners residing in the county. Almost $10 million in new construction and improvements, along with new tangible personal property, will likely put the new certified tax rate at $2.0479 per $100. This follows a property reappraisal reflecting county-wide property values of $542 million, with public utility assessments of about $17 million. The added property value will mean about $444,000 more for the county.
