Murray, KY – A heat advisory remains in effect until 8:00pm Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s through Wednesday. The combination of extreme temperatures with high humidity will result in maximum heat index values between 100 to 105 degrees today and tomorrow. People are advised to avoid prolonged work in the sun or in poorly ventilated areas. Also, remember to keep plenty of liquids on hand and try to stay in the air conditioning.
