Paducah, KY – Paducah school officials may be leaning toward building a new middle school behind the existing school on Lone Oak Road. Building on the property would require buying 31 homes on Clark and Adams streets. Board members plan to meet with property owners next Monday to field questions and gauge how many are willing to sell. The Paducah Sun reports the board seems uninterested in pursuing two other potential locations: one on Park Avenue near Paducah Ford and another undisclosed plot, which was discussed in executive session yesterday.
