Fort Campbell, KY – A Fort Campbell soldier has been indicted on charges he sold a machine gun and a land mine to an undercover federal agent. A grand jury Wednesday indicted 22-year-old Eric David Waldman of Clarksville, Tennessee, on two counts of transfer of a machine gun, and one count of distribution of explosive materials. Authorities arrested Waldman, an active duty infantryman with the 101st Airborne Division, earlier this month. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives resident agent in charge Kevin Kelm says Waldman sold a machine gun and a land mine to an agent in Oak Grove, Kentucky, just outside the installation. Waldman is being held without bond by the U.S. Marshals Service.
