Frankfort, KY – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear has ordered flags to half-staff at all state office buildings in honor of the late Senator Robert Byrd. The Democrat from West Virginia died this morning. He was the longest-serving congressman in history. Flags will remain at half-staff through sunset tomorrow.
