Princeton, KY – A crash site on the Western Kentucky Parkway in Caldwell County is clear of debris. A semi-truck carrying cucumbers overturned early this morning, reducing traffic to one lane. The Kentucky State Police report the accident occurred after the truck driver fell asleep at the wheel. He sustained minor injuries.
Also in Caldwell County this morning, a road construction worker sustained severe injuries when vehicle struck him near the new county schools complex. The unidentified man was airlifted for medical attention. A KSP crash site investigation is pending.
