Fort Campbell, KY – A Fort Campbell soldier has died in Afghanistan of a non-combat injury. The Defense Department says 26-year-old Sergeant John M. Rogers of Scottsdale, Arizona, died Sunday. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion of the 1st Brigade Combat Team. He entered the Army in June 2004 and arrived at Fort Campbell in April 2009.
