Paducah, KY – A West Paducah woman faces a felony charge for allegedly falsifying proof of her son's employment in an attempt to release him from jail. 44-year-old Katrina Wolfrey was arrested yesterday and charged with tampering with evidence. Last week, her son Kyle Zervas appeared before Circuit Judge Craig Clymer at a bond reduction hearing. Clymer said he would lower Zervas' bond if he could provide written proof of employment. Later that day, a letter arrived from Wagner Moving and Storage, but investigators say the company denied willingness to employ Wolfrey's son and that she falsified the document.
