Owensboro, KY – Economic development in Owensboro will add 500 more jobs to the city. U.S. Bank Home Mortgage's Servicing Center in Owensboro plans a $14.1 million expansion. The project will support U.S. Bank's growing national loan portfolio. U.S. Bank currently employs 1,100 people in the Owensboro area. They will begin hiring new employees next spring. Another business, Pinkerton Tobacco, has announced it will upgrade its Owensboro facility and retain nearly 300 employees.
