Hopkinsville, KY – A Christian County Circuit Judge has declared a mistrial in the murder case against Trumaine Manchouck. Yesterday's ruling comes after the jury told Judge Andrew Self they were no longer confident they could reach a verdict in the three day trial. The case now goes back to prosecutors to determine if another trial date will be set and if a new jury is to be selected. Manchouck is charged in the Oak Grove shooting death of 23-year-old Chrisphine "Jerry" Walter three years ago. He admits to killing Walter but claims it was in self-defense.
