Paducah, KY – McCracken County has passed subdivision development incentives that go into effect today. The incentives are expected to save developers as much as $10,000 for every 1,000 feet of a new street. It also eliminates some inspection fees and makes it easier for the County to take over street maintenance. Judge Executive Van Newberry tells the Paducah Sun the incentive will be in place until the county's unemployment levels fall below seven percent.
