Bowling Green, KY – Kentucky Republican Senate candidate Rand Paul has raised more than $1 million in campaign contributions in the past three months. Paul campaign spokesman David Adams says the campaign took in $1.1 million during the last quarter. He declined to say how much cash the campaign has on hand. The money includes totals from a Washington event sponsored by U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell and a 24-hour Internet "Moneyblast." The total from the past three months exceeds the amounts Paul raised in the previous two quarters. Democratic Senate candidate Jack Conway plans to release his fundraising totals sometime before July 15.
