Cairo, IL – Authorities in Cairo, Illinois say one person is dead and another injured following an early morning shooting outside a bar. Police have identified the deceased as 19-year-old Jeserick Pilgram of Mounds. Pilgram was pronounced dead on the scene. The injured victim was reported in stable condition at an area hospital.
Cairo Police Chief Timothy Brown says police were called after 2:30 a.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, a large group of people had gathered outside the bar. Police say no one is custody in connection with the shooting.
