Paducah, KY – Riverfront Development officials in Paducah recommend the joint bid by two companies to be the contractors in charge of liquidating and demolishing the Executive Inn. Mayfield-based Youngblood Excavating and Texas-based PRC Environmental submitted the lowest bid of $217,000. Paducah City Commissioners are expected to consider the recommendation within the next two weeks. The Paducah Sun reports a 60-day liquidation sale of the hotel's contents is set to open in the beginning of August, with demolition starting in October.
