Fancy Farm, KY – Fancy Farm Picnic planners say none of this year's speakers will be allowed to use profanity. The 129th annual political speaking event will be held in August at the Fancy Farm Elementary School grounds. Chairman Mark Wilson tells the Paducah Sun if speakers let one slip, organizers have the right to stop their formal presentation. The new rule comes after Attorney General Jack Conway used profanity last year to describe his toughness, for which he later apologized. Conway's running for US Senate on the Democratic ticket and faces Republican Rand Paul in November. The Fancy Farm picnic is expected to attract statewide attention and in the past has hosted crowds exceeding 10,000.
