Massac County, IL – Massac County, Illinois Sheriff's deputies yesterday found two lost hikers in Shawnee National Forest. Searchers began by locating the hikers' missing vehicle with its On-Star system in southern Massac County. Deputies found the lost hikers about 3 miles into the forest wandering along a fire trail. The Paducah Sun reports the two hikers needed no medical attention and left the area after receiving food and water.
