Murray, KY – A Calloway County High School student is a national horsemanship champion. Seventeen-year-old Layla Choate of Murray won the United States Equestrian Federation's Youth Reining competition in the 14 to 18 year old age group. This is her first time in the USEF division and her first win. Choate is a senior at Calloway County. She will compete at the USEF championship next year.
