Paducah, KY – The Eastbound lanes of the I-24 Bridge over the Ohio River will close for one and a half hours this morning beginning at 9:00 am. McCracken County Sheriff's Department is conducting a crash reconstruction as part of their investigation into last week's double fatality crash. Traffic will detour at the US-45 Metropolis Exit 37 to southbound US-45, across the Irvin Cobb Bridge into Kentucky to Old Cairo Road and back onto I-24 at Exit 3 in Paducah. Semi-truck traffic will be restricted from detouring and will be held on I-24 until investigators clear the site.
