Fort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell Officials report a soldier died during combat last Thursday. 25-year-old Private First Class Anthony Simmons of Tallahassee, Florida was killed during an indirect fire attack in Afghanistan. Simmons is the 23rd Fort Campbell casualty since June 1st.
