Paducah, KY – Paducah Middle School will stay at its current location on Lone Oak Road. As officials plan to build a new facility at the site, state statutes will require expanding the school's campus by 11 acres. The move means the school board will appraise 31 homes on Clark, 31st and Adams streets and negotiate buyout prices with residents. Superintendent Randy Greene tells the Paducah Sun the community overwhelmingly feels the school should remain at its current location. Officials hope to have a new middle school open at the site by fall 2013.
