Henry County, TN – Henry County, Tennessee officials still need to cut five-hundred-thousand dollars from the proposed 2010-2011 fiscal year budget. County Mayor Brent Greer wants to keep funding for a three percent cost of living raise for employees. Greer says they could use no more than one-hundred-thousand dollars of the county's current balance to fill some of the half-million dollar gap. Finance officials meet July 26 and August 3 to finalize the budget before they seek Henry County Commissioners' approval August 16.
