Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville, Tennessee Police Department has fired a former detective convicted of bank fraud and other charges. 47-year-old Martin Edward Hall apparently stole a Cadillac Escalade from the impound lot, sold it in another state and later filed bankruptcy. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports Hall has been on Clarksville's force for almost a decade and has been on administrative leave without pay since August of last year. He's scheduled to be sentenced in November and faces up to 30 years in prison and a $1 million fine.
