State Police Confiscate Hundreds of Marijuana Plants

Madisonville, Ky. – Kentucky State Police in the Pennyrile region continue a marijuana sweep that netted more than 200 plants last week. Last Wednesday, troopers in Madisonville confiscated and destroyed 202 marijuana plants from Muhlenberg County. The combined value of the destroyed plants is estimated at more than $400,000. KSP officers have yet to report any arrests associated with the drug sweep.
