Commonwealth Attorney Reviews Reidland-Farley Investigation

By Chris Taylor

Paducah, KY – The Commonwealth Attorney's office will decide within two weeks whether or not a grand jury will review allegations of questionable financial transactions at the Reidland-Farley Fire Department. State Police have finished their investigation. Assistant Commonwealth Attorney Seth Hancock describes the report to the Paducah Sun as voluminous. No charges have yet been filed in the case. An external audit early this year found former Chief Richard Tapp, his wife Becky Tapp and former procurement officer Justin Adams allegedly received thousands of dollars in undocumented reimbursements and other payments.
