Clarksville, TN – A Montgomery County jury will begin hearing evidence today in the trial of a woman charged with her infant daughter's death. 26-year-old Cortni Lee Nichols faces murder and aggravated neglect for after allegedly leaving her 3-month-old in a hot car for six hours. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports Nichols has admitted to police she left her daughter in the car while attending a bar with friends.
