Madisonville, KY – The city of Madisonville joins the ranks of accredited National Main Street cities. The National Trust Main Street Center accredits Madisonville for its strong revitalization effort, which the organization says both strengthens the local economy and preserves historic buildings. The National Main Street program has created almost a half-million jobs and leveraged almost $50 billion in new public and private investments across the country over the past 30 years.
