Murray, KY – Advocates for the Americans with Disabilities Act will hold a series of meetings across Kentucky to highlight the need for the federal law that has given more accessibility to public buildings. The meetings are to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the signing of the ADA in 1990.
The first of the meetings is set for today in Murray. It will be followed in subsequent days with celebrations in Paducah, Hopkinsville, Bowling Green, and six other cities across the Commonwealth. The final get-together will be at the Capitol in Frankfort on July 26th.
