Madisonville, KY – The mother of a woman accusing Hopkins County magistrate and former Regional Medical Center paramedic Wesley Lynn of rape testifies her daughter is fabricating the allegation. Amanda Perkins' mother Christy Felker says she advised her daughter to not go ahead with her claim, which she says is an attempt to win monetary damages. Felker and Perkins are currently involved in a custody battle over Perkins' 4-year-old daughter.
The Madisonville Messenger reports Lynn's defense counsel called a series of medical professionals yesterday, who had no recollection of Perkins or Amy Gower, another woman claiming Lynn sexually assaulted her. The medical professionals also testified neither woman's medical charts noted any emotional distress. The trial resumes this morning in Hopkins Circuit Court.
