By Rebecca Feldhaus

Hopkins County, KY – Hopkins County Magistrate Wesley Lynn is free after jurors acquitted him of sexual assault charges yesterday. Lynn was indicted in 2009 for two counts of sexual assault, rape and sodomy. Two female patients in Lynn's care accused him of assaulting them at Regional Medical Center. Lynn previously worked as an emergency paramedic, but resigned in 2008. A 2008 indictment against Lynn for two counts of sexual abuse and sexual harassment is still pending.
