Murray, KY – A local, organic family-run farm earned the Agri-business of the Year award last night at the Murray-Calloway County Chamber of Commerce annual banquet. As four hundred people looked on, chamber past-president Jason Billington presented the award to Brad, Karly, Daisy, and Lily Lowe of Hillyard Field Organics.
"Our agriculturalists of the year puts going green, into growing green. Hard work, natural alternatives and know-how replace potentially harmful chemicals on this USDA certified organic farm."
The Chamber's Small Business of the Year award went to Express Custom Floors. Taylor Family Dental earned Mid-size Business of the Year. And Murray Bank took away the Large Business of the Year award.
