Clarksville, TN – Housing prices in Clarksville, Tennessee are on the rise. The average value of a home in June cost about $168,000, up some $20,000 over last year. Association of Realtors President Norma Gann tells the Clarksville Leaf Chronicle their market has slowed down over the past couple months, but the comparative numbers reflect a fortunate industry. Clarksville's housing market has generally remained strong throughout a national recession caused in part by plummeting home values.
