Metropolis, IL – Negotiations between Honeywell Corporation and the United Steel Workers union have again fallen short of agreement. USW representatives made one counterproposal to Honeywell's proposed settlement from June 28. Company officials rejected the counterproposal, which addressed worker pension. Tomorrow's scheduled negotiations have been canceled. Talks will resume again August 10.
