Paducah, KY – A Kevil man charged with murder is sentenced to 25 years in prison. 24-year-old Dustin Mackie pleaded guilty yesterday to first-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of Jon Crouch over a year ago. Mackie's guilty plea is a part of an agreement with prosecutors which saw his charges amended down from murder, but requires he serve at least 85 percent of his sentence before he can be paroled. The Paducah Sun reports Mackie shot Crouch last May while driving separate cars on Trimble Street in Paducah over drug debts.
