Frankfort, KY – Thousands of unemployed Kentuckians will soon have checks in the mail. The money comes after President Obama signed a bill last week that extends federal unemployment benefits. Kentuckians who are due retroactive benefits may request as many as two checks per day for up to three consecutive days.
