Paducah, KY – A group of Paducah residents are concerned a local bank's plan to build its headquarters in its neighborhood will bring heavy traffic to their small streets. The West-End Neighborhood Association is against Independence Bank's plan to build on Forest Circle near HealthWorks Medical. Association member Jo Dortch tells the Paducah Sun she worries the commercial property will chip away at the neighborhood's quality of life. Others fear rezoning residential property for a bank would lead to all sorts of commercial property invasions.
