Hickman, KY – A National Weather Service update calls for an extreme heat watch in Paducah, Mayfield, Murray and Hickman. The advisory is in effect for those areas and the surrounding communities throughout the day today and Wednesday. Despite small possibilities of thunderstorms, the highs most days will exceed 90 degrees with heat index values up to 110. Meteorologists expect higher than normal temperatures to continue into next week.
